”I’ve been training at Roar for 5 years now, mostly doing crossfit and every now and then braving the gym floor for some cardio or a play on the machines (that I didn’t really know how to use). I’d hit a plateau with my training, I wasn’t motivated which meant I wasn’t pushing myself in classes as much and I was ready to mix it up. Training with Izzy has introduced me to a whole new world of training! I used to burn 300 cals in a crossfit class because even though I thought I was working hard, I wasn’t lifting as heavy or pushing myself as hard as I could. My first session with Izzy was HIIT sprints, heavy deadlifts, and supersets of shoulders and glutes and my GOD WAS I DEAD AFTERWARDS! I’d burnt nearly 600 cals, and I’d been at a constant level of hard work for the whole session which I wasn’t used to but I was SO ADDICTED! I’ve learnt how to train certain body parts to achieve a certain aesthetic, and how to be in control of my diet to achieve what I want without over restricting or binging. I’ve never felt so in control of my own results and it makes me feel so strong that I can do it on my own, but knowing Izzy is always a message away if I need her is great. I’ve loved learning from her and I could not recommend her enough for anyone needing an extra push or a better understanding of their bodies!
